Tyne Tunnel Office Refurbishment

The reception room required a refurb as it had not been touched for around 10 years.  They needed to create more space, bring it right up to date, portray the right image to their investors and customers.  The new reception desk had to accommodate wheel chair and disabled users.

The corporate colours were introduced into the overall scheme in a subtle way.  The new Tyne Tunnel 2 logo gave me the inspiration, Blue, white and orange.  Soft orange contact grassweave wallcoverings were used. A venetian polished plaster feature wall brought the deep blue into the scheme and a large white contemporary porcelain floor tile was used to create the feeling of space.  All skirting boards, architraves and reception furniture were finished in Walnut adding a rich contrast to the scheme.

The reception now has a welcoming feel which is light, bright and contemporary.

The work carried out for TT2 was a quality work. You helped us deciding the look of the reception by proposing interesting options in order to make the most of the space. You were available to discuss those options and show us various samples. You project managed the progress of the works with a good liaison with our own maintenance staff.

TT2 has now a reception of a good standard and we are all proud to welcome customers and visitors in TT2.
